Our primary focus is on legislative lobbying - designing and implementing successful strategies to educate legislators and executive branch officials on the issues that are important to our clients. Relationships matter, and we regularly put our hard-earned reputations on the line to get our clients in front of the right decision makers.
Not all policy-making happens in the state Capitol. With the growth of the administrative state, more government regulations than ever are being implemented at the agency level. We maintain an extensive network of contacts within the state bureaucracy, and we routinely represent clients before state agencies.
With 169 separate municipalities and a proud tradition of home rule, Connecticut has a significant layer of municipal regulation and control. We represent clients on a wide variety of municipal issues, including land use , economic development, and local ordinances. We have also assisted in the creation of multiple special tax and use districts.
